A Simple Life, Quilts inspired by the 50's

Above are my blocks from Shelly Pagliai's Book, A Simple Life!  I LOVE this BOM quilt of hers, and I have to make my own as she won't share...  ;-)
She's my friend, I can give her guff!
I LOVE the quilts in this book, perfect scrap quilts!  I am using all Mostly manor Fabrics in my quilt, which you can purchase in my shop!
and also Hazelsdiary.wordpress.com  for an upcoming quilt-along!

I was born in 1952, so the 50s were the beginning of my formative years, and this book sounds like a lot of fun. Life WAS a lot simpler back then, or at least I thought it was. My world was pretty small — a small town in western North Dakota — and remained that way until I left for college. I sewed, but didn’t have a quilting presence in my family or life until I was much older.
