Shipping FAQ's

 

Victoria Findlay Wolfe Quilts is an ONLINE store only. We are a staff of two, and do our best to ship every business day when allows, in between making quilts, writing patterns, answering emails etc. Thank you for supporting our small business!

No one wants to spend more than necessary on postage fees - that could be more fabric! We try to charge actual shipping costs, rather than increase product costs to help cover shipping.

With a wide variety of large acrylic templates, fabric and books, the combinations of certain items in your order sometimes allow us to take advantage of better shipping rates. If we are able to ship your order for less, we refund shipping charges that are in excess of the actual postage.

How do I get the best shipping for my fabric-only order? We ship all fabric-only orders (over 1 yard) up to 8 yards in a padded flat-rate envelope.

Do you ship internationally?  Yes! We ship all over the world. Our website is set up with automated shipping charges for most orders. However, depending on the specific order and destination, sometimes the costs vary quite a bit. If you are placing an international order, feel free to email us at info@vfwquilts.com with your name, address, and items you want to order, and we are happy to check the actual shipping cost for you.

Why can't I enter my address/complete my order?     Your order may be too large to compute shipping charges (this occurs mostly on large international orders.) Please email info@vfwquilts.com with your name and shipping address, and we will send you a custom invoice with the actual shipping charge before you purchase.

Where is my order shipping from?  Orders are shipped on weekdays from Missouri.

Pre-orders or items with an estimated ship date. Any pre-orders or items with an estimated ship date will have the entire order ship when the item is available.  If you want separate items faster, please don't combine those items with your regular order, Please order them separately...  If you forget and order it all together, and want the order split, please email us and we can help you with that.

What happens if my template arrives broken?     This doesn't happen very often, but occasionally we have a package that receives some extra rough handling. Please email us at info@vfwquilts.com with a picture of the package and broken piece, and we will get a replacement sent out to you!

Tracking Questions: My item says it was delivered and it's not here...
Some orders may get delayed within ups, usps systems.  Please give it a day or so longer then listed (as delivered) on your tracking, as 
often times, in particular the USPS scans the item, and doesn't deliver til the next day, even though you may have tracking saying "it was delivered"....We see this OFTEN happen  throughout the year. (hence making it to the FAQ's section!)
