Stretch Hex & Tumbler Class

March 02, 2016

Stretch Hex and Tumble class recap at QuiltCon.

I LOVE teaching this class!!!  This class takes learning a new skill down to just a few basic tips for success in mastering Y seams and allows you to build a quilt quickly!

Students took about 15-20 minutes, majority, to learn the new skill. Once they had sewn about 5-6 seams, they found their groove, and were off and running.

Below, enjoy photos of starts on projects, and where some ended the class.

Taking the fear out of learning a new technique for me, is just so much fun to teach! Once the students, GET IT, I come back around, and they have multiple rows done... Boom! Just like that.

Another thing I love is seeing the kinds of fabric collections people bring... Every quilt here is a beauty!

The Garden Variety PATTERN with ACRYLIC TEMPLATES is available in my website shop, with great instructions! (no paper templates)

Already have my Stretch Hex & Tumbler Acrylic templates?

You can buy the PATTERN ONLY to go with the templates you already own.

My patterns only work with my acrylic templates, paper patterns pieces are NOT included.

Scroll down see more options for these two shapes and other patterns.

The students really got into full swing with their piecing. I'm always so impressed how much they get done!   Designs were being created in every inch of the floor space!  LOVE THAT!!

These patterns also work with the STRETCH HEX & TUMBLER  template sets.  ( Please note: both sold, with or without the templates, but no paper templets included)

All my patterns are listed here.  Click

It's great to have multiple designs and styles per template set... I like to give you as many options as possible! Have fun!
