Wonderful episode. I truly enjoyed learning more about your process. I have admired your work for quite a while.
Truly enjoyed this episode — but I had to laugh when you were describing your early college years: “art vs. craft.” I started out as a painter and when I started stuffing my canvas (trapunto before I knew what that was…) my painting professor suggested I might want to explore textile courses. He loved what I was doing and didn’t discourage it — but it was the impetus for me to move into fiber. Bridging the gap between art and craft in the 70s was an adventure!
What an exciting adventure for you, Victoria!

Just watched on my local PBS station. I enjoyed the program very much. My grandmother made those polyester quilts too! Just had to share! I’m from WV and now live in TN. I’ve never finished a quilt but have lots of fabric and patterns! Love your fabric art!
