1-Day Intro to the Experience Quilt class $75, non-refundable, so please read through completely before purchasing!

March 26 (Wednesday) in my home in Campbell Hall, NY.

10am to 4pm - with a half hour for lunch (bring your own lunch)

CLASS DESCRIPTION: Learn my tips & tricks for creating your own Experience Quilt from my new book, “The Quilting Experience.” This class is an introduction to planning and choosing colors & fabrics for this sampler quilt. We will also cover the construction of two of the blocks from this sampler quilt: Constant Classic and Bunting blocks, with techniques including partial seams, accurate triangle piecing, piecing blocks with diagonal seams, and multiple half square triangles. Get design help putting together a great plan for your Experience Quilt or master these two blocks to use in your own quilt design.

Demonstrations, inspiration, and instruction with Victoria. Everyone has their own JUKI sewing machine, table, design wall, and all sewing equipment, including neutral Aurifil thread. Small class size with 8 students.

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

Victoria's book, "The Quilting Experience" (or purchase it in class).

Fabric for your project (more detailed fabric list will be emailed after registration, see page 23 for approximate amounts.) You don't need to bring all the fabric for the quilt, but it's helpful to bring enough pieces/options to work with Victoria to plan your color palette or just bring enough fabrics to make the 2 blocks.

Everything else you need to sew with is here! JUKI Sewing machines, Irons, all the basic sewing equipment, like scissors, rotary cutters, cutting mats, design walls, etc. are all here!

* My two adorable pups (Agatha & Cleo) will likely be around the house during class.

* Address provided with class emails after registration.

* Not accessible via public transportation. These classes are for those in the area who can drive to location.

* THIS IS A NON-REFUNDABLE PAYMENT. Cancellations for illness or other unforeseen event must be made at least 72 hours in advance to receive a class fee credit. Cancellations 24-72 hours before class will receive 50% class fee credit. No credit will be given for cancellations made less than 24 hours before class.
